Firstly I would to like to congratulate Adly for being the first ( and only) person to seemingly be interested in this little blog baby of mine. It's no mean feat and he deserves a mention.

Secondly, an audience of ONE is still much better than NONE. Alright, the blog title is No Compliments, not no comments! Give it to me yah yahoos, bad , good or well you know something encouraging. I sob at night for the charity ( or lack of) of friends I left behind in good old Malaysia. So, comment on the layout, the spiffy-ness of the fonts, whether it needs some flashing epileptic lights, what you want me to post e.g. pictures of my underwear around London, bra-less chicks in this summer heat and topless muscle boys for the ladies of course. Only the music remains untouchable, because well, I am rather tasteful in my taste for music, bad english intended.

Well, on to the update. The weather here is getting plentiful warm and beautifully sunny, which means lazying in the park and more incentive to gym. Which I have just started, me am member of the YMCA gym in Tottenham Court Road. It costs 30 quid for a month , I get to use everything , including the swimming pool and free yoga/pilates/skipping/ butt clenching classes. Plus they got shit like Photography , Pottery and Arty stuff to do. I like, as Borat would cry out.

Oh yeah and the most interesting thing I've seen the past week is a bronze toilet sink at a Shisha joint. Mmmmm, bronzey.... Speaking of Shisha joints, due to the ban on smoking indoors coming into effect this July in London, there will be none operating come this summer. Well, as restaurants yeah, but we all know why we go there; for the apple, grape, and strawberry flavours and opportunity for smoke ring making. Also it's pretty much a cultural possession of the local Middle Eastern Community in London as well as breathing( heh!) much character into areas such as Edgeware Road and Bayswater. I aim to do a think piece on how the smoking ban affects the the community of shisha smokers and whether the ongoing petition will be successful enough to ensure shisha smokers get their fix. So watch this space as I may put up some of my work from Journalism School! For critique and your general thoughts of course.
